Gabriela Villamizar defends clients in a broad range of civil litigation, focusing on personal injury and property damage matters. With experience in all phases of litigation—including drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, and conducting depositions—she partners with her clients from intake to resolution, ensuring they are informed throughout the process.
Before joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, Gabriela was a law clerk with the firm. She was also a legal intern for a boutique firm in Fort Lauderdale where she assisted with foreign trademark application searches and researched issues regarding life rights, trademark infringement, and the Lanham Act.
While attending law school, Gabriela served as Executive Justice for Academics of the Moot Court Society, Lead Articles Editor for the ILSA Journal of International & Comparative Law, and was recognized by the National Order of Barristers for her exceptional skills in oral advocacy and brief writing. In addition to her academic accomplishments, Gabriela worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Heather Baxter and was a Judicial Intern at the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida.
