Frankie Velez works with clients on a wide range of insurance services matters. With experience that includes legal research and drafting motions, orders and final judgments, he is involved in all phases of litigation, ensuring his clients are informed each step of the way.

Professional Background

Prior to joining Hinshaw as an associate, Frankie was a law clerk with the firm. During law school, he gained invaluable experience from clerkships with firms in Jacksonville. He dealt with highly sophisticated cases ranging from real estate and construction to corporate issues, as well as tax and trust estate matters.

Following completion of his undergraduate studies, Frankie was an intern for U.S. Senator Marco Rubio.


A former walk-on turned starting field goal kicker for the Florida Gators, Frankie is an avid sports fan that enjoys playing and watching football, baseball, basketball, and soccer. He enjoys training high school kickers throughout central Florida and hopes to help them fulfill their dreams of becoming college field goal kickers.
