Dylan Helfand works with clients on a wide range of insurance services matters. With experience that includes legal research and drafting motions, orders, and final judgments, he is involved in all phases of litigation, ensuring his clients are informed each step of the way.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Dylan practiced at a boutique litigation firm in New York City, advising on matters in both trial and appellate courts in New York. Additionally, as a law clerk for an international law firm, Dylan assisted in the trial defense of an executive accused of federal securities crimes.
During law school, also gained invaluable experience as a summer associate and law clerk with firms in New York. He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Cathy L. Waldor, U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
As a student, Dylan was also involved in a number of associations and activities. In addition to serving as the Symposium Editor for the Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Journal, he was the Mulligan Associate Editor for Fordham Law Moot Court.
