Christina Fears is an Attorney at Law with Hinshaw. She brings nearly 20 years of civil litigation experience to her practice, a majority of which has involved the defense of first-party property insurance coverage and extra-contractual disputes for domestic and surplus lines insurers. Christina has extensive experience with catastrophe claims and other contract disputes involving commercial and residential properties. She also represents insurers relating to the investigation of suspected arson, insurance fraud, and other suspicious insurance claims.
Christina provides counsel to clients regarding compliance with state and federal laws. When the need for litigation arises, she partners with clients to develop case-specific strategies to mitigate litigation risks. Although a majority of her practice is dedicated to litigation, Christina finds it equally rewarding to aid clients with cost-effective dispute resolution.
Christina's past experience also involved representing companies relating to employment law matters. This includes providing information and responses to inquiries by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Before joining Hinshaw, Christina bolstered her litigation knowledge at firms in both Florida and Texas. She litigates in both state and federal courts.
