Bryant Roby defends professionals and corporations in a wide range of liability matters. His background further includes experience with matters involving investment management, health care, transportation litigation, product liability, intellectual property, labor and employment issues, and white collar defense.

With experience that includes legal research and drafting motions, orders, and final judgments, Bryant is involved in all phases of litigation, ensuring clients are informed each step of the way. Bryant prides himself on being a team player, an attribute that clients and colleagues alike greatly appreciate.

Before joining Hinshaw as an associate, Bryant was both a law clerk and summer associate with the firm. He is passionate about mentoring and coming alongside new attorneys and law students to help further diversity in the legal profession.

During and prior to law school, Bryant also gained invaluable experience from a number of clerkships and internships, including working the Erie County Public Defender's Office in Pennsylvania and the Citizen Advocacy Center in Elmhurst, Illinois

As a student at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Bryant was involved in a number of activities and organizations. In addition to serving as the president for both the Moot Court Honor Society and the Black Law Students Association, he was an editorial staff member of the Seventh Circuit Review.

A Chicagoland native, Bryant returned to Illinois for law school after getting his masters in Pennsylvania and his bachelors in Ohio, where he was captain of the wrestling team and a two-time qualifier for the NCAA National Wrestling Championship.
