Brooke Tanner serves as a trusted advisor for insurers across a wide variety of industries. Focused primarily on insurance coverage matters, Brooke represents clients in all phases of complex first and third-party insurance issues.
Leveraging her extensive knowledge and experience, she also helps clients navigate intellectual property rights. This includes handling disputes concerning copyright infringement, trade secrets, privacy, media, and trademark infringement and appropriation.
Operating at the intersection of cyber, privacy, and insurance, Brooke counsels clients on coverage for exposures arising out of emerging technology, digital, and compliance risks. She also advises insurers on cyber claims, including those involving ransomware, phishing, and other cyber-crimes.
Before joining Hinshaw, Brooke spent several years in private practice prior to serving as Claims Counsel for a market leader in claims administration and consulting.
