Brian Fernandez represents clients in litigation, focusing on government-related matters. His background further includes assisting with labor and employment cases, such as those regarding wage theft, overtime claims, and discrimination. With experience at all phases of the litigation process, Brian partners with clients to ensure they're informed throughout.
Prior to joining Hinshaw, Brian drafted wills, complaints, and motions, and handled subpoenas and discovery requests as a licensed 711 law student with the Zeke Giorgi Legal Clinic. He also gained extensive employment law experience working as a law clerk at the Peggy Browning Fellowship – Raise the Floor Alliance and as an intern with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
Before embarking on his legal career, Brian was a catastrophe claims operations adjuster at an international insurance company. During his legal studies, Brian was a graduate assistant for Human Resources at Northern Illinois University.
