Donna Bacso's paralegal practice spans more than two decades, and for more than two-thirds of that time she has focused in assisting attorneys with intellectual property matters, with particular emphasis in trademark and patent work. Ms. Bacso is equally conversant with transactional and litigation work, and assists both attorneys and clients with matters involving copyrights, domain names and trademark clearance searches, as well as preparation and filing both domestic and international trademark and patent applications, and renewing/maintaining trademark and patent registrations. Ms. Bacso has significant experience with intellectual property docketing software. She maintains one of the firm's trademark and patent docket systems and handles several legal administrative tasks for the attorneys she assists.

Professional Background

Ms. Bacso joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in January 2014, along with a group of attorneys from Ryndak & Suri LLP. She also gained substantial experience in assisting attorneys with trademark matters in the Chicago offices of Holleb & Coff, Ltd.; Sachnoff & Weaver, Ltd.; and Jenner & Block LLP.

In addition to the Patent Cooperation Treaty Certificate that she holds, Ms. Bacso completed coursework toward a Bachelor's Degree at Purdue University.
