Elizabeth Heredia advises clients in the full continuum of aging service and long-term care providers, including home service agencies, assisted living facilities, sheltered care facilities, continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), and skilled nursing facilities. Elizabeth litigates matters brought under state and federal statutory provisions and represents aging service providers in administrative actions before the state Departments of Public Health and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Elizabeth has significant experience in all phases of litigation. In addition to preparing and arguing successful motions at the trial court level, she prepares mediation submissions, responsive pleadings, discovery, and briefs. Elizabeth partners with her clients to ensure they are informed throughout and provide them with simple, tailored solutions for their complex legal problems.

Before joining Hinshaw, Elizabeth practiced at a national firm in Chicago defending premises liability and insurance litigation matters.

During law school, Elizabeth was a senior editor for the Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences Journal and a 711 licensed student clinician for the Loyola University Chicago Veteran's Practicum. Working as a law clerk for a national defense firm in Chicago, she also gained meaningful experience.
