Ellen Silverman Profiled in Hennepin Lawyer Article "Farm Team or Football? Mega Law Moves to Minnesota"
Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP Partner Ellen B. Silverman, of the firm's Minneapolis office, was profiled in the article "Farm Team or Football? Mega Law Moves to Minnesota," published by Hennepin Lawyer. The article discusses why many large law firms based outside of the state establish offices in Minnesota.
The article further discuses how a small office of a big firm can offer a fantastic culture for its attorneys and staff, how it's easier to develop and control a positive firm culture within a small office, as opposed to a single large firm with multiple floors of attorneys housed in one building. Ms. Silverman stated that the cultural aspect of practicing in one of Hinshaw's satellite offices is one of the best parts of her job. She also explains that a smaller office in a larger firm offers greater opportunities for younger associates to get some great practical experience at the outset of their careers.
