Robert Hess to Speak at the 2016 Eastern Claims Conference
Robert E. Hess, an Irvine, California-based Life, Health & Disability Litigation Practice partner at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, will speak at the Eastern Claims Conference's (ECC's) Annual Conference on March 14, 2016 in New York. Mr. Hess will participate in a mock trial program titled “In the Hot Seat.” He and his co-participants will present the trial examination of an insurance company representative in a hypothetical bad faith trial arising from the denial of a disability claim.
Robert Hess focuses his practice on insurance coverage disputes and business litigation. He also devotes part of his practice to both state and federal appellate matters. Mr. Hess' work in the field of insurance litigation primarily involves matters concerning coverage issues arising from individual and group insurance contract disputes, as well as ERISA-governed litigation. In addition to handling cases in the U.S. district courts in California, Mr. Hess also has litigated several cases in the U.S.District Court for the District of Nevada.
