Anthony Davis to Present at the 44th ABA National Conference on Professional Responsibility
Hinshaw's Anthony Davis—a New York-based partner and member of the firm's Lawyers for the Profession® group—will present at the 44th ABA National Conference on Professional Responsibility, which takes place from May 30 to June 1, 2018 in Louisville, Kentucky. Davis' panel presentation titled "Ethics Issues in Lawyers' Use of Artificial Intelligence," will take place on Thursday, May 31 from 9:00 – 10:20 AM Eastern. The panelists will discuss the ability of machines to reduce, or even eliminate, human participation in tasks traditionally involved in the practice of law. They will also analyze how using machines could affect both the delivery of legal services in the future and how we analyze and manage ethical accountability and client protections. Davis' contribution to the discussion will focus on the implications of artificial intelligence for the future role of lawyers and the structure of law firms.
