Hinshaw Attorney Michele Vargas Leads HNBA's Fourth Annual Anti-Human Trafficking Conference

On Friday, September 18, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP attorney and Hispanic/Latino Attorney Network member, Michele A. Vargas will lead the Fourth Annual HNBA Anti-Human Trafficking Conference to take place at St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. Ms. Vargas is the Director of the Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force of the Florida Region VIII of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), and has led the annual conference three consecutive years.

This year's conference will feature Judge Maria Sampedro-Iglesias and Judge Rosa Figarola as panelists. The conference will also feature Kattarina Rosen, a human trafficking survivor who is the head of the Victims of Human Trafficking grant program at Miami-Dade County.

The event is free of charge for all attendees. A light breakfast will be served at 8:00 a.m. and registration opens at 8:30 a.m. Attorneys licensed to practice in Florida may earn four (4) CLE credits for attending the conference. CLE is pending approval.
