Jill McFarland is an experienced litigation paralegal who focuses on assisting attorneys in the personal injury and property damage practice group.

Jill is involved in all aspects of case management and trial preparation from initial client interview through trial. She regularly drafts and prepares pleadings and discovery; locates expert witnesses; and analyzes and indexes depositions. In addition to her general litigation work, Jill has assisted with insurance defense, medical malpractice and products liability matters.

Professional Background

Prior to joining Hinshaw, Jill was a paralegal for a St. Louis-based firm where she was part of the defense team and worked on Missouri v. American Tobacco with then-Missouri Attorney General Jeremiah Nixon. She also worked in a St. Louis-based complex litigation and transactional firm as a litigation paralegal.

Jill began her career as a clerk at an industry-focused full-service litigation and business law firm in the St. Louis office of a Kansas City-based firm.
