Anna Martell is a paralegal who primarily assists attorneys in personal injury and property damage defense litigation. Anna handles the full range of paralegal duties, including the drafting of pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and orders for various court filings. Anna joined Hinshaw in 2017 with more than a decade of paralegal experience. In that capacity, Anna would investigate and analyze lawsuits for factual details and examine lease documents and vendor contracts for potential tender situations. Prior to that time, she worked as a paralegal at a toxic tort and insurance defense litigation firm in Elgin, Illinois, where she drafted pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and orders for various court filings. She began her career as a legal secretary for an insurance company in Long Grove, Illinois, where she provided in-house secretarial support for asbestos division attorneys and maintained the filing and organizing of a myriad of case matters.
