Zachary A. Harrington
Zachary Harrington focuses his practice in the area of commercial litigation.
He represents Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, insurers, various corporate entities and individuals in all phases of litigation, including defense of complex consumer and employee class action lawsuits.
Mr. Harrington joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in May 2009. Previously he was for two years an associate at Broad and Cassel, where he worked as a summer associate in 2006. He also clerked for a boutique firm in Florida during his first year of law school.
Prior to his legal career, and in conjunction with the program requirements of the honors business degree program at Albion College, the Gerstacker Institute for Professional Management, Mr. Harrington was an intern at Aon Corporation in Chicago, where he worked with the Employee Benefits Consulting group. Under the same program, he was also an intern at Quest Energy in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he was part of an operations team in the Technology and Purchasing group.
In addition to his other law school accomplishments, Mr. Harrington graduated in the top six percent of his class. He was a member of the Dean’s List, and received Book Awards in Torts, Real Property II, Florida Constitutional Law and Corporations. He was a member of the Business Law Society and Phi Delta Phi. In addition, he did pro bono work for the National Clearinghouse for Science, Technology, and the Law.
Mr. Harrington is a member of The Florida Bar.
Mr. Harrington was honored as the keynote presenter at Stetson’s Fall 2005 Scholarship Dinner, discussing the now germane topic of non-conventional loans, mortgage fraud and default risk and the responsibilities of lenders, individual borrowers and government.
Mr. Harrington is involved in various community activities in the greater Tampa Bay area.
