The Reverend William P. Grogan serves as an ethics consultant and works with Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP’s medical malpractice and health care attorneys to help the firm's hospital clients resolve delicate medical ethics issues. Father Grogan is a member of the Ethics Committees of several hospitals in the Midwest. In addition to practicing law, he lectures in bioethics at Loyola University of Chicago. Father Grogran holds the AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating for ethics and legal ability.

Father Grogan’s professional affiliations include the American Academy of Religion, American Bar Association, Catholic Lawyers Guild, Chicago Bar Association, Christian Ethics Society, College Theology Teachers Association and Illinois State Bar Association. Father Grogan is the author of A Review of Religious Exemption Clauses in American Jurisdictions for Child Abuse Cases: A Focus on Christian Science Practitioners, Report to Ethics Subcommittee of the American Academy of Pediatricians, Fall 1985.
