Victoria R. Glidden

Practice Focus
Victoria Glidden devotes a substantial portion of her practice to health care reimbursement, including regulatory compliance standards, and to the collection of commercial and consumer debts.

Ms. Glidden represents medical providers in recovering the amount due from third party payers and health plans, under state statutes and at the patient level. She also assists providers with charity care and community benefit policies, procedures and best practices. As needed for discharge planning, Ms. Glidden prosecutes guardianship cases.

Her practice also includes representing creditors and bankruptcy trustees in proceedings throughout the state of Illinois.
Ms. Glidden’s representative clients include OSF Healthcare System, Freeport Memorial Hospital and Freeport Regional Health Care Foundation, Midwest Medical Center, Kawasaki Motors Finance Services Corp. and State Bank of The Lakes.
Professional Background
Before joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in November 1989, Ms. Glidden was a staff attorney for Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, responsible for the collection of student loan accounts.

Ms. Glidden is a member of the Leading Lawyers Network Advisory Board. She is also a member of the Leading Lawyers Network, recommended by her peers in a statewide survey to be among the top lawyers in the state of Illinois in Commercial Collection Law. In 2010, Leading Lawyer Magazine Women’s Edition included her in their list of the Top 50 Women Downstate lawyers. In addition, she holds the BV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell for ethics and legal ability.

Ms. Glidden is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys and the Winnebago County Bar Association.
