Three Associates Join the Firm

CHICAGO - Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP announces the addition of three new associates to the firm's Arizona, California, Illinois and Massachusetts offices. The new associates include the following:

Los Angeles, California Office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP

Angeli C. Aragon, 47. Angeli Aragon represents clients in litigation involving commercial, employment, environmental, intellectual property and professional liability matters. Ms. Aragon also handles insurance coverage matters and appeals.  She earned her J.D. in 1990 from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law. While at U.C.L.A. Law, she was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program and a judicial extern to Hon. Cynthia Holcomb Hall, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Aragon serves on the board of the Philippine American Bar Association, and has been the Association’s treasurer since 1998. She speaks conversational Tagalog.

Dana A. Rice, 28. Dana Rice represents insurance companies in complex coverage litigation involving a wide range of insurance policies. He also prepares opinion letters for his insurance clients, outlining coverage obligations and potential exposure for first- and third-party claims. Graduating cum laude, Mr. Rice received his J.D. in 2004 from DePaul University College of Law. While in law school, where he earned several academic awards, Mr. Rice was Editor-in-Chief of the DePaul Journal of Sports Law & Contemporary Problems and President of the DePaul National Moot Court Society.  

Boston, Massachusetts Office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP

Justin M. Fabella, 33. Justin Fabella represents clients in professional liability matters, focusing on legal malpractice defense and agent and broker E&O liability. He also has experience handling products liability, securities and construction matters. Additionally, Mr. Fabella maintains an active insurance coverage practice, litigating declaratory judgment actions and defending insurers against bad faith claims. He has both alternative dispute resolution and appellate experience. Graduating cum laude in 2002, Mr. Fabella received his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, where he was the Production Editor and a staff member of the Suffolk Trial and Appellate Advocacy Journal.
