Cecilia A. Horan,
Thomas R. Mulroy III,
Conrad C. Nowak and
Dana Rice, has advanced to the final round of the 10th Annual
Fortune Magazine and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Battle of the Corporate Bands. Eight bands from across the nation will participate in the finals, which will take place at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland on October 1 - 2, 2010. The Nuisance is the only band from a law firm to make the final round of competition.
More than 30 bands submitted materials to be considered for the 2010 Battle of the Corporate Bands. Sixteen were ultimately chosen for the competition. The Nuisance and seven other bands performed at a regional final on May 22, 2010, in Las Vegas. The band was among the top four bands in that regional final to move on to the finals. The other regional competition will be held in Nashville on June 19, and four additional bands will then advance to the finals.
The eight bands competing in the final round of the 2010 Battle of the Corporate Bands will each perform a 30-minute set for a panel of judges composed of members of the music industry. The winner will be named “The Best Corporate Band in America” for 2010.
