Sherri L. Mullins

Practice Focus
Sherri Mullins concentrates her practice in the defense of national clients in wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury and products liability litigation. She has significant experience handling matters involving automobile accidents and premises liability.

Ms. Mullins has been involved in mass tort litigation management and multi-state litigation with respect to the defense of commercial airline carriers in air disaster cases.

Ms. Mullins handles all phases of trial litigation. Her representative trials include:
  • Iris Probkevitz vs. Velda Farms, et al. – Action brought for the wrongful death of a 15-year-old girl as a result of a truck collision. Case was successfully bifurcated on the issues of liability and damages. Defense verdict for Velda Farms. Tried before Judge Gerald Hubbart, in Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida, in January 2007.
  • Annette Carey, et al. vs. Peter Blash, et al. – Action brought for alleged brain injury resulting from tractor trailer collision. Case was resolved on the fifth day of trial. Details of the resolution to remain confidential at the request of plaintiffs' counsel. Trial commenced before Judge N. Sanders Saul in Crawfordville, Wakulla County, Florida in April 2006.
Professional Background
Ms. Mullins joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in March 2001. She practiced in the areas of insurance defense and aviation litigation in Miami-Dade County, Florida before joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP.

During her undergraduate studies, Ms. Mullins was a member of the Dean's List and Kappa Omicron Nu Honor Society. In addition, she was a recipient of the Georgianna D. Selleck prize.

She is a member of The Florida Bar and the Federal Bar.
