Rolfe Worden has practiced business law for over 40 years. He has an extensive real estate transactional and finance practice. He represents owners of commercial properties in real estate tax matters before the Minnesota Tax Court. He has handled a significant number of transactions involving HUD-insured and other multi-family housing projects.
In addition, Mr. Worden’s general business representation emphasizes counsel to new and emerging companies.
Mr. Worden is an active member of the Minnesota Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Mr. Worden holds the AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating for ethics and legal ability. He was selected as a
Leading American Attorney by his peers (through American Research Corporation) in 1998.
From 1987 to 2006, Mr. Worden served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Business, where he taught "New Venture Law." He received the Business Excellence Award, “Excellence in Teaching – Adjunct Faculty,” from the University in 1996. He received the Distinguished Service Award from the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Business in 1998.
Mr. Worden was a member of the firm of Popham, Haik, Schnobrich & Kaufman, Ltd. from 1964 until 1997, when he became a partner in Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP.
Mr. Worden has written a variety of articles on real estate and business law topics. He was a guest columnist for the
July 4, 2005 “Outside Consultant” column of the
Minneapolis Star Tribune, where Mr. Worden discussed the advantages to incorporating in
Minnesota versus another state.
In addition to his adjunct professorship at the

Mr. Worden is a member of the Board of Directors, Twin Cities Metro Certified Development Company, an SBA 504 lender. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of The Fifty Lakes Foundation, a Minnesota nonprofit conservation organization.
