Raylene Grischow maintains an active trial practice which includes commercial litigation, employment litigation, municipal law and the defense of matters involving general liability, personal injury, automobile liability, premises liability and property damage claims.

She is the attorney for the city of Auburn, Illinois.
Professional Background
Ms. Grischow joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in January 2001.

She was appointed by Illinois Supreme Court Justice, Rita Garman, to serve a two-year term (2012-2014) as a member of the Supreme Court Committee on Professional Responsibility.

She is a member of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, Illinois State Bar Association and the Lincoln-Douglas Inn of Court. Ms. Grischow is a member and past president of the Central Illinois Women's Bar Association. She is the President and Communications Director of the Sangamon County Bar Association, where she is also a past first vice president, past treasurer and a past president of the Young Lawyers Division. In addition, Ms. Grischow is a fellow of the Illinois Bar Foundation.

Ms. Grischow is a member of the Leading Lawyers Network, where she was selected by her peers as a Leading Lawyer in the areas of Personal Injury Defense Law: General, and Workers’ Compensation Defense Law. In addition, she holds the BV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell for ethics and legal ability.

In 2011, Ms. Grischow was included on the Rising Stars list in the area of Business Litigation, by Illinois Super Lawyers magazine. The Rising Stars list recognizes attorneys who are 40 or younger, or who have been practicing 10 years or less.
