Pamela S. Fox

Practice Focus
Pamela Fox has a general commercial law practice, with an emphasis on banking and employment law matters. She represents state and national banks and their non bank subsidiaries. In addition she lectures frequently in the area of employment law.
Professional Background
Ms. Fox is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Winnebago County Bar Association. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Colorado, receiving her B.A. in 1974 and her law degree from the same university in 1977.

In 2009 and again in 2010, Ms. Fox was named as one of the “Top Ten Women Lawyers Downstate, by Leading Lawyers Network Magazine. She was also included in the magazine’s list of Top 50 Women Lawyers Downstate. In addition, in 2007 Ms. Fox was named as one of the “Top 100 Leading Women Lawyers” in Illinois in all areas of law. She also holds the AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating for ethics and legal ability.

Ms. Fox practiced for two decades with Maggio & Fox before joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in November 2002.
Publications and Presentations
Ms. Fox is the author of, “Existing Companies Often Create Jobs Most Efficiently,” which was published in the August 21, 2005 edition of the Rockford Register Star.

She also speaks on topics pertaining to her areas of practice. Her presentations include, “Current Estate Planning Issues (Including How to Prevent the IRS or Other ‘Undesirables’ from Being your Primary Beneficiaries),” at Hinshaw’s 2005 Breakfast Seminar Series, in Rockford, Illinois, April 2005.
Community Service Activities
Ms. Fox is very active in community affairs and is currently Chairman of the Governance Committee and a member of the Executive Committee for the Rockford Health System Board of Trustees.

In April 2010, Ms. Fox received the Honorary Triumvirate award from the Rockford Memorial Development Foundation, recognizing her many years of service and support of Rockford Memorial Hospital and Rockford Health System.

She is on the Advisory Board for the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Rockford. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Rockford Area Economic Development Council.
