Stanley Davidson concentrates his practice in the areas of medical professional liability, risk management and appellate law. Mr. Davidson joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in September 1973. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Appellate Lawyers Association of Illinois (President, 1985-1986), Chicago Bar Association, Decalogue Society of Lawyers, Defense Research Institute, Illinois State Bar Association and Illinois Society of Trial Lawyers.

In 2005, Mr. Davidson was named to the Super Lawyer list in the area of Health Care Law by Illinois Super Lawyers magazine. In 2006, he was named to the Super Lawyer list in the area of Medical Malpractice Defense. In 2009, he was included on the Super Lawyer list in the area of Personal Injury Defense: Medical Malpractice. In addition, he has been recognized by his peers as a Leading Lawyer in the category of Personal Injury Defense Law: Professional Malpractice. Mr. Davidson also holds the AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating for ethics and legal ability.

As a law school guest lecturer, Mr. Davidson has spoken on appellate practice at DePaul University School of Law, Chicago, Illinois (1980-1982) and at Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent School of Law, Chicago, Illinois (1982).

In the September 26, 2005 issue of American Medical News, Mr. Davidson was one of the attorneys interviewed for “An Ounce of Prevention,” an article offering an insider’s view of omissions that could propel a physician into a liability lawsuit. Mr. Davidson has published “Illinois Civil Practice After Trial” in "The Record," IICLE (1980).
