Joel Bertocchi Discusses Rod Blagojevich Resentencing Hearing With CBS Chicago
In a news story that aired on CBS TV affiliate WBBM and on WBBM Newsradio, Chicago-based Government Practice Group partner Joel D. Bertocchi commented on former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich's prospects in his upcoming resentencing hearing. Mr. Blagojevich was convicted in 2010 of 18 corruption counts related to his attempt to sell his appointment of a vacant U.S. Senate seat. The resentencing follows a 2015 dismissal by a federal appeals court of five of those counts.
