Jenny H. Wang Named an LCLD Fellow for 2015
Irvine, CA — Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is proud to announce that Jenny H. Wang, an Irvine, California based Partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice, has been selected for the 2015 Fellows Program of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). Ms. Wang joins colleagues Nabil Foster and Diane Webster who were selected as Fellows in 2014, 2012 and 2011 respectively.
Launched in 2011, LCLD's landmark Fellows Program works by identifying high-potential attorneys from diverse backgrounds and setting them on the path to leadership of their organizations. The Program was established by LCLD Talent Development Committee, led by Deborah Majoras (Chair) and Gary Sasso (Vice Chair), and has grown to include a vigorous Alumni Program.
“I am proud to continue the firm’s tradition of being a part of this prestigious group,” says Wang, who is a member of Hinshaw’s Diversity Committee. “I look forward to collaborating with colleagues around the country who are also committed to promoting diversity in the legal profession.”
Wang will engage in a learning program that includes in-person conferences, training in the fine points of legal practice, peer-group projects to foster collaboration and build relationships, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership, including the managing partners and general counsel who host the Fellows for Learning Experiences and Leadership Lunches.
“Hinshaw has a long-standing commitment to fostering leadership opportunities for our attorneys. These opportunities strengthen attorneys, clients, firm culture and promote diversity,” says Leslie Richards-Yellen, Hinshaw’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer.
The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity, formed in 2009, is made up of the general counsels of the nation’s preeminent corporations and of the managing partners of the nation’s leading law firms.
