Kourtney A. Mulcahy and Jane C. Schlicht, Partners in the Intellectual Property Practice at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, have co-authored a chapter in the publication "Managing Intellectual Property Issues in Cyberspace." The chapter, entitled "Challenges in Defending IP in the Age of the Internet" provides practical advice to intellectual property owners for protecting their intellectual property from infringement and piracy on the internet. Ms. Mulcahy and Ms. Schlicht discuss existing risks; identify steps that can be taken to protect intellectual property and monitor misappropriation; and outline the necessary analysis when considering pursuing claims in a court of law.

"Managing Intellectual Property Issues in Cyberspace" was published by Thompson Reuters Westlaw's Aspatore Books.
