Dan Ryan Named a 2014 “BTI Client Service All-Star”
CHICAGO, IL. – Daniel K. Ryan, a Chicago-based partner and commercial litigator at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, has been named a “BTI Client Service All-Star” by The BTI Consulting Group Inc. The recognition is reserved for lawyers who deliver superior service to clients at Fortune 1000 companies and other large organizations. Those recognized as Client Service All-Stars are identified — unprompted — through in-depth independent interviews with corporate counsel. The award is based on an attorney's commitment to six key factors that drive exceptional client service according to corporate counsel: client focus, innovation/thought leadership, exceptional understanding of the client's business, legal skills, outsized value and outstanding results.
Mr. Ryan leads the firm's Business Litigation Practice Group. He is recognized and distinguished for his strategic ability to successfully and aggressively resolve business disputes. Mr. Ryan has tried numerous cases, both jury and non-jury. He has a national practice, representing his clients' interests in several federal and state courts throughout the country. He has also argued before various appellate courts, including the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Seventh and Eight Circuits and the state appellate courts in Illinois and Indiana. His technical background includes a unique combination of capabilities in class action lawsuits, healthcare litigation, employee benefits litigation, consumer fraud allegations, corporate/partnership disputes and IT software implementation claims.
He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the International Association of Defense Counsel and the Employee Benefits Committee of the American Bar Association.
