Minneapolis Office Expands

Minneapolis– Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP today announced that respected Twin Cities business and real estate attorneys Thomas Wallrich and Steven Stilton joined its Minneapolis office as partners.

Silton and Wallrich were both previously named SuperLawyers by Minnesota Law and Politics Magazine, and Wallrich has been consistently named a top-bankruptcy attorney in Minnesota.

Silton and Wallrich are joined by attorneys Kristi ZentnerJamie PierceHeather MarxPeter Crema, Joel Nesset, and four additional legal professionals. All of the attorneys and legal professionals previously made up the majority of the business practice group at Mansfield Tanick & Cohen.

About Thomas Wallrich

Wallrich received his Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in 1990, where he was an articles editor for the William Mitchell Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree in International Relations from the University of Minnesota in 1987.

Wallrich practiced law for several years with the Minneapolis law firm of Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. before the formation of Fafinski, Wallrich & Crema in 1993. In 2002, Wallrich joined the law firm of Mansfield Tanick & Cohen, P.A. as a shareholder. 

Wallrich concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, commercial transactions, real estate property development, and bankruptcy law.  He also is a published author of numerous articles on various legal issues and is a frequent lecturer at legal education seminars. 

About Steve Silton

Silton received his Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in 1995, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1991.

Silton practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law, with a sub-emphasis in commercial and complex bankruptcy matters. Silton is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Florida, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Silton also is a regional and national writer and lecturer on business and bankruptcy related issues, and has presented at two national conventions of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Silton also is a co-author of a Thomson-West publication, Minnesota Practice-Methods of Practice, Fourth Edition, in which he drafted the chapter on Bankruptcy.
