Minneapolis, Chicago, June 11, 2004 – Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP has elected attorney David R. Mylrea a Capital Partner in the firm, effective July 1, 2004. Mr. Mylrea, 47, is based in the firm’s Minneapolis office. He focuses his practice on complex commercial finance transactions involving offerings of debt and equity, leases, loans and project financing. He handles all facets of complex, multimillion-dollar financings, including origination, negotiation and preparation of definitive documentation, closing and funding.
Specifically, Mr. Mylrea concentrates his practice in the area of financing and secured transactions, with emphasis in real estate, land acquisition and development and the gaming industry. He has initiated industry standard documentation and financing structures and has facilitated equipment, construction and development financing for both Indian and traditional gaming venues. Mr. Mylrea has represented numerous investment banking firms, banks, bank holding companies and related institutional lenders on these transactions.
Mr. Mylrea graduated from St. Olaf College in 1978 and William Mitchell College of Law in 1984.
