National Law Firm Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP Elects Three Attorneys to Capital Partnership

CHICAGO; Rockford, Ill. – National law firm Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP has elected three attorneys to capital partnership. They are:

Richard B. Polony (Chicago) concentrates his practice in the area of commercial litigation with an emphasis in fidelity, fiduciary and surety claims investigation and litigation. With his business experience in finance and extensive UCC litigation practice, he often investigates and litigates complex financial fraud or theft cases. He is active professionally and is a member of the ABA’s Minority Involvement and Young Professionals Subcommittees, as well as the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois.

Richard Porter (Rockford) represents municipalities and business enterprises in environmental law and litigation, and in general commercial and insurance defense litigation. His environmental practice includes experience with CERCLA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Phase I and II reports, environmental impact studies, Superfund litigation, toxic tort actions, and asbestos abatement, among many others. He also has been recognized by his peers as a Leading Lawyer in the category of Environmental Law.

Matthew P. Walsh, II (Chicago) concentrates his practice in the areas of construction, municipal and medical malpractice litigation. He also represents police departments, law enforcement agencies, local units of government, and state and local officials in tort and civil rights litigation in his capacity as a Special Cook County States Attorney and a Special City of Chicago Corporation Counsel. Additionally, he has lectured on trial technique and strategy at DePaul University College of Law, the John Marshall Law School, the American Bar Association and Hinshaw University's Trial Advocacy Program.
