Laplante Elected Member of Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel

FT. LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA ― Arthur J. Laplante, a Partner in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP has been elected to membership in the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC).

The FDCC, composed of recognized leaders in the legal community who have achieved professional distinction, is dedicated to promoting knowledge, fellowship, and professionalism of its members as they pursue the course of a balanced justice system and represent those in need of a defense in civil lawsuits. The organization limits its U.S. defense counsel membership to 1,000.

Mr. Laplante is an experienced trial lawyer who concentrates his practice in national and regional representation of clients, encompassing commercial, construction, products liability and transportation litigation. He is regional counsel for a number of Fortune 500 companies, overseeing their litigation throughout the country. Mr. Laplante is also national trial counsel for several companies in matters involving trucking and products liability where he is lead trial counsel on all matters proceeding to verdict throughout the country.
