Kristin M. Kurczewski

Kristin Kurczewski focuses her litigation practice in a number of areas, including antitrust litigation, toxic tort, employment matters, health care matters, general liability matters and medical malpractice defense.

Ms. Kurczewski handles all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation. She also performs legal research and prepares substantive motions.
Professional Background
Ms. Kurczewski joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP as an associate in August 2007. Previously she was a law clerk with the firm since November 2006. Ms. Kurczewski was also a 2006 summer associate with the firm.

While in law school, Ms. Kurczewski clerked at the Law Offices of Nye and Associates, Ltd., and also at the Cook County Office of the Public Guardian.

In addition to her other law school accomplishments, Ms. Kurczewski was a member of the Public Interest Law Council, Animal Law Society, Phi Alpha Delta and the Dean's List. She was a student member of the American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association.

Prior to her legal career, Ms. Kurczewski was a family educator at Maryville Academy – City of Youth in Des Plaines, Illinois.
Community Service Activities
As part of The Children’s & Family Law Society, Ms. Kurczewski organized a fundraiser for Between Friends, a non profit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence. She also helped organize a fundraiser to provide a college scholarship for Chicago inner city youth.
