Ronald L. Kammer, a Partner in the
Miami office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, has been selected as a co-chair of the American Bar Association Litigation Section’s Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee. The appointment becomes effective August 1, 2010.
Mr. Kammer, the Partner-in-Charge of Hinshaw’s Miami office, is the Business Development Partner of the firm’s Specialty Litigation & Insurance Coverage Department. He focuses on the representation of insurers nationally. Mr. Kammer has been involved in many significant cases in which the court interpreted an insurance company’s duty to defend and indemnify, breach of policy conditions, claims involving bad faith and unfair and deceptive trade practices, and coverage obligations for construction defect, pollution, trademark and patent infringement claims. He also handles first and third party insurance coverage disputes.
