Joel Nesset represents financially troubled businesses and creditors, both in and out of bankruptcy, including companies such as M.A. Gedney Company, Octeon Corp., creditors’ committees in Chapter 11 cases filed by Mr. Movies, Stockwalk Group, Inc. and one of the unions involved in the Mesaba Aviation Chapter 11.
Mr. Nesset also represents clients in various transactional matters, including asset sales, financing and leasing.
Mr. Nesset joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in July 2007. Previously he was for six years an associate with the Minneapolis firm of Henson & Efron, P.A. He began his legal career as a judicial clerk for the Honorable George O. Petersen in the Ramsey County Courts in St. Paul, Minn.
Mr. Nesset has been named to the
Rising Star list annually by
Minnesota Law & Politics since 2004.
He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association.
