Andrew M. Ramage and Geri Lynn Arrindell successfully defended three Sangamon County (Illinois) Jail correctional officers in a Section 1983 civil rights case in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Illinois tried on August 23 and 24. The officers were accused of using excessive force on plaintiff inmate during a cell removal where they tasered the inmate four times. The jury was out for less than 1.5 hours and returned a verdict in favor of all defendants.
