Hinshaw Lawyers Included on "Florida Trend" Magazine's "Florida Legal Elite"

MIAMI, Fla. and JACKSONVILLE, Fla.Ronald L. Kammer and Eric A. Hiller, attorneys in Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP’s Miami office, and William R. Dobbins, a lawyer in the firm’s Jacksonville, Florida, office, have been included in Florida Trend magazine’s eighth annual list of Florida's “Legal Elite.” According to Florida Trend magazine, the list includes a prestigious list of esteemed attorneys chosen by their colleagues. Those listed exemplify a standard of excellence in their profession, and by doing so have received endorsement from their peers in voting for the 2011 Florida "Legal Elite." The list represents approximately 2 percent of the more than 66,000 active Florida Bar members practicing in Florida.

Mr. Kammer, the Partner-in-Charge of Hinshaw’s Miami office, is a co-leader of the firm’s Specialty Litigation & Insurance Coverage Department. He represents insurers nationally and has been involved in many significant cases in which the court interpreted an insurance company’s duty to defend and indemnify, breach of policy conditions, claims involving bad faith and unfair and deceptive trade practices, and coverage obligations for construction defect, pollution, trademark and patent infringement claims. Mr. Kammer also handles first and third party insurance coverage disputes.

Mr. Hiller practices in the areas of complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage. His clients include national insurers, real estate developers, international corporations, professional athletes and promising entrepreneurs. Mr. Hiller’s insurance coverage practice focuses on resolving high-exposure claims under D&O, CGL, E&O and D&O policies involving contractors, architects, engineers, physicians, lawyers and officers and directors.

Mr. Dobbins focuses his litigation practice in professional liability, construction matters, general liability issues, personal injury defense and workers’ compensation. He served as the president of the Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel in 2010.
