Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Law Journal.

The article includes a review and analysis of recent developments in animal law. The equine-related claims section of the article involves issues of breach of contract, the enforceability of equine activity liability releases, liability under the Equine Activity Liability Act, and negligence. The insurance law section of the piece includes a discussion of the business pursuit insurance exclusion, farm and general liability policies, racetrack insurance coverage and resident-relative exclusions.
In related news, Ms. Ocrant was elected to chair the Equine Law Subcommittee of the American Bar Association Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Law Section’s Animal Law Committee.
