Steven E. Seward, 31. Steven Seward primarily represents debtors, lenders and other parties-in-interest in proceedings under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code and in out-of-court workouts. He also litigates bankruptcy adversary proceedings. From 2006 to 2007 Mr. Seward served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul G. Hyman, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court in West Palm Beach, Florida. Mr. Seward earned his J.D. in 2006 from the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated
cum laude and served as Writing & Research Editor of the University of Miami Law Review.
Ian P. Luthringer, 28. Ian Luthringer handles business and real estate-related transactional and litigation matters for businesses and individuals in numerous industries. He assists with the formation of business entities, structuring of businesses and transactions, preparation of industry related documents, and the preservation of client interests through mediation, arbitration and litigation. Mr. Luthringer also acts as a business consultant for a number of national and international companies and individuals in the construction, hospitality, real estate, retail and Internet industries. He is a member of a number of web-based and multifaceted investment companies. Mr. Luthringer earned his J.D. in 2009 from Florida Coastal School of Law, where he was a Dean's Scholar.

Todd M. Davis, 26. Todd Davis practices in the area of business litigation, with particular emphasis in insurance coverage disputes. Mr. Davis earned his J.D. in 2008 from Florida Coastal School of Law, where he graduated

Jason K. Winslow, 28. Jason Winslow focuses his practice in the defense and litigation of professional liability matters, with particular focus in medical malpractice claims. Stiehl of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. Avanti D. Bakane, 25. Avanti Bakane represents clients in commercial litigation, professional liability defense, class actions and consumer litigation. She is a regular contributor to Hinshaw’s labor and employment newsletter,

DePaul Women’s Law Caucus 2009 Digest. Ms. Bakane is proficient in Spanish and Marathi. She earned her J.D. in 2009 from DePaul University College of Law, where she received the CALI Award, Litigation Lab.
Alex Breland, 27. Alex Breland practices in the areas of labor and employment law and school law. He defends against discrimination claims in both the public and private sectors, and negotiates collective bargaining agreements on behalf of local governmental agencies and school districts. Mr. Breland also attends administrative hearings regarding special education matters, has conducted extensive research on merit pay and pay for performance issues in the public sector, and has drafted district guidance on the use of electronic devices on school premises and safeguarding student records. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Breland was an elementary school teacher. He earned his J.D. in 2009 from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology.
Adam S. Guetzow, 25. Adam Guetzow represents clients in the defense of products liability, premises liability, general liability and personal injury litigation. During law school, he was a member of the Dean’s List and graduated with a special certificate in advocacy. Mr. Guetzow participated in the Herbert Wechsler National Criminal Law Moot Court Competition. He and his partner won the Best Brief Award and placed third overall in the country. Mr. Guetzow earned his J.D. in 2009 from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Danielle M. Costello, 25. Danielle Costello represents health care providers in their business and regulatory matters, counseling on corporate regulatory compliance and fraud and abuse. Her publications include: “The Right to Make Informed Reproductive Health Care Decisions Regardless of Age: Maintaining the Focus on the ‘I’ in ‘I want to be One Less,’” which appeared in 2008 in the
Wisconsin Law Review. Ms. Costello earned her J.D. in 2009 from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where she graduated with honors and served as Managing Editor, Business Editor and Malt & Barley Editor of the
Wisconsin Law Review from 2008 to 2009.
Michael T. Berger, 41. Michael Berger focuses his litigation practice in complex business litigation, including intellectual property and products liability matters. He has been heavily engaged in intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark and trade secret matters. Mr. Berger is admitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, holds an M.S. in Environmental Science, and is a former scientist and engineer. Mr. Berger earned his J.D. in 2005 from William Mitchell College of Law, where he graduated
