Chicago, April 7, 2006, - Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP announces the addition of six new associates to the firm's Illinois, Missouri and Florida offices. The new associates include the following:

Evan D. Brown, 31, Evan Brown’s litigation practice is focused on commercial and intellectual property litigation at both the state and federal levels. He is experienced in trademark and copyright law, and advises his clients on these matters, as well as others relating to law and technology. Mr. Brown has a substantial background in intellectual property laws and how they govern the distribution of content over the Internet. He also drafts software licenses and other intellectual property-related agreements. Mr. Brown is the author and publisher of InternetCases.com, a weblog that tracks current developments in Internet and technology law. He was admitted to practice in Illinois in 2002. He received his J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law in 2000, where he was on the Online Editor of the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy.

Peoria, Illinois Office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP

Ambrose V. McCall, 44, has substantial commercial litigation and trial experience. He litigates and mediates complex cases in the areas of professional liability, employment and discrimination claims, commercial litigation and real estate litigation. He also handles municipal, school and governmental liability, and real estate law matters. Mr. McCall has represented AmSun, LLC; Coregis / Wesport; Arch Insurance Company; St. Paul/Travelers Insurance; Chubb Insurance; Jack in the Box; AIG; the Insurance Commissioner of Pennsylvania; and many medium-sized businesses and governmental entities of state and local governments throughout Louisiana. He was admitted to practice in Illinois in 1987, and received his J.D. in 1987 from Case Western Reserve University, where he was a Contributing Editor of the Law Review.

St. Louis, Missouri Office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP

John M. Hongs, 33, has a broad business litigation and transactional practice. He handles complex litigation in many areas, including class actions, commercial litigation, personal injury litigation and intellectual property litigation. In addition to both jury and non-jury trial experience, Mr. Hongs has significant motion practice and appellate writing experience. Mr. Hong’s transactional practice includes real estate agreements, corporation formation and related services, preliminary agreements to joint ventures and acquisitions, and intellectual property licensing agreements. He received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 2002, where he was Articles and Notes Editor of the Law Review. Mr. Hongs was admitted to practice in Missouri in 2002.
