Jack Brewer Foundation (JBF) Blue Carpet Event, a fund raising program to benefit the JBF. The event will begin at 9:00 p.m. on June 19, 2010. It will be held at The Grand Hotel, at 615 2nd Avenue South, in Minneapolis. Attendees will include NFL football players such as Marion Barber, Corey Chavous, Larry Fitzgerald, EJ Henderson, Bryant McKinnie and Sidney Rice. Also expected to attend are government officials and business persons from across the United State, among others.
The JBF’s mission is to help alleviate extreme poverty through self-sustaining socioeconomic initiatives: JBF/JBF Microfinance Program, Partnership to Protect Children and Young Leaders Initiative. JBF Worldwide focuses on the empowerment of women and children living within impoverished and underdeveloped communities through the implementation of initiatives that enable food security; provide access to educational resources; and foster local enterprise.
