Kimberly A. Jansen focuses her practice in appellate litigation. Prior to joining Hinshaw, she was an Assistant Defender in the Office of the State Appellate Defender for the First District. She also served for a total of three years as a Judicial Clerk for Justice Thomas Homer of the Third District and Justice Judith Cohen of the First District of the Illinois Appellate Court. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign in 1999, where she was a member of the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court.
Todd P. Stelter concentrates his litigation practice in the following areas: professional liability, legal malpractice, commercial, general liability and class actions. Before joining Hinshaw, Mr. Stelter was an associate with the Chicago law firm of Stellato & Schwartz Ltd., where his litigation practice included professional malpractice, premises liability, construction liability and transportation liability. Todd received his J.D. from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago in 2002, where he received the Curt N. Rodin Fellowship for demonstrated promise in tort litigation.
Jason S. Bentley concentrates his practice on environmental remediation, municipal liability, and alarm company defense on both the state and federal levels. Prior to joining Hinshaw, Mr. Bentley was a law clerk at Dranias, Harrington & Wilson in Chicago, where he gained substantial experience in complex factual investigations. He was also a Research Consultant for the Netherlands Consulate General in Chicago, and a Congressional Affairs Intern for the Drug Enforcement Administration in Virginia. He received his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago in 2001.
April M. Dahl focuses her practice on both premises liability and product liability litigation. Ms. Dahl joined Hinshaw as a Law Clerk; she became an Associate in 2004. Previously, Ms. Dahl was a Summer Associate at Krupnick Campell Malone Busser Slama Hancock Liberman & McKee, P.A. in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She received her J.D. from Notre Dame Law School in 2003, and is a member of the Chicago Bar Association.
Wendy Wen Yun Chang concentrates her practice in the area of professional liability with a particular emphasis on representing lawyers and law firms in legal malpractice cases. Prior to joining Hinshaw, Ms. Chang was a senior associate at the national law firm of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, Los Angeles, where she focused on complex business litigation. She received her J.D. in 1995 from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where she was Executive Editor and Chief Articles Editor, Entertainment Law Journal. Ms. Chang serves on the Advisory Boards of the Asian Pacific American Legal Center of Southern California, the Asian Pacific Women's Center and the A-United Foundation.
Amy K. Jensen focuses her practice in the area of professional liability with an emphasis on malpractice defense. Ms. Jensen first joined Hinshaw as a Law Clerk in October 2002. Prior to returning to Hinshaw, she was a research attorney for the Honorable Elihu M. Berle and the Honorable Elizabeth A. Grimes of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Ms. Jensen was also an associate with the law firm of Simkin & Associates in Los Angeles where she concentrated on landlord and tenant law, real estate litigation, wills and probate, residential real estate, contracts, immigration, and commercial real estate. She received her J.D. in 2003 from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
