TAMPA, Fla. ― The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP announces that
Marjorie Salem Hensel has joined the firm as a partner in its Lawyers Professional Liability Practice Group. She will practice in Hinshaw’s
Tampa,
Florida office. Previously, Ms. Hensel was for more than two years a shareholder with the law firm of Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin, in Tampa, Florida.

Ms. Hensel focuses her practice in the area of professional liability defense representing lawyers and law firms, accountants, architects, broker/dealers, cosmeticians, debt collectors, engineers, insurance brokers and agents, real estate agents, surveyors, tattoo artists and travel agents, as well as manufacturers and title insurance companies. On behalf of securities brokers/dealers, Ms. Hensel has defended clients before self-regulatory organizations, and handles securities arbitration claims before the National Association Of Securities Dealers (NASD). She also has experience in extra-contractual liability and catastrophic litigation, and defends employment claims.
Ms. Hensel earned her J.D. in 1988 from the University of Miami School of Law. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at San Diego in 1984. Ms. Hensel is also a 2005 graduate of the IADC Trial Academy, which is held annually at Stanford University College of Law.
