Maranda E. Fritz, a partner in the
New York City office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, obtained an acquittal for her client, a former Marsh, Inc. executive, in a widely publicized insurance bid-rigging case. Ms. Fritz’s client, and two other former Marsh executives, were accused of colluding with major insurance company brokers in a scheme to manipulate the excess casualty insurance market. The acquittal followed an 11-month trial in a New York state trial court in Manhattan
