July 26, 2016
Sheraton Madison Hotel: 706 John Nolen Drive, Madison, WI 53713

Angela M. Rust, a Appleton-based partner in the Health Care Law group at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, will be speaking at the Wisconsin Medical Society 2016 Symposium on September 15, 2016. Ms. Rust will be speaking at the presentation "New Directions in Direct Contracting: Partnering with Employers to Drive Innovation" from 10:30am - 11:30am CST.

This program will explore the growing popularity of direct contracting between providers and self-insured employers, how such partnerships are driving innovation, and key considerations for those providers looking to start, join or expand a direct contracting program. The objectives include comparing and contrasting different models for providers to enter into contracts for medical services with self-funded employers, identifying trends in the way employers purchase medical services and what this means to health care providers and spoting potential legal pitfalls that are important for providers to avoid when direct contracting with employers.
