Damian M. Fletcher
Damian Fletcher is a litigator who handles all phases of litigation and trial at both the state and federal levels.
He focuses his practice in risk management and defense of claims against banks, manufacturers, businesses and professionals in cases of catastrophic loss. He is experienced in handling products liability, general liability and commercial litigation matters. In addition, Mr. Fletcher has experience litigating professional liability matters including medical malpractice and pharmacy liability.
Clients he has represented include Alcatel-Lucent, AT&T, National Dairy Holdings and LALA USA, Tyco International, UGL-Unicco, Walgreen Company, AutoZone, Avaya, Sears Holdings and the American Red Cross.
Mr. Fletcher joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in August 2006. Previously he was with Gordon Hargrove & James, P.A., in Ft. Lauderdale; and Haliczer Pettis & Schwamm, P.A., also in Ft. Lauderdale; and Bobo, Spicer, Ciotoli, et al., in West Palm Beach.
In September 2010, Mr. Fletcher was invited to join the Council on Litigation Management. His professional memberships also include The Florida Bar, Broward County Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, National Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
Mr. Fletcher is an assistant professor at the College of Pharmacy at the University of South Florida teaching pharmacy law.
He has been rated by Martindale-Hubbell for ethics and legal ability.
Mr. Fletcher is a member of the Board of Directors of Faye Clarkâs New Horizons, a private, not-for-profit corporation that serves developmentally disabled adults in South Florida.
In 1998, Mr. Fletcher was named an Outstanding Young Man of America for his volunteer work with the disadvantaged.
