As a reflection of his outstanding reputation in attorney malpractice counsel, Mr. Jones is a past co-chair of the Professional Liability Section Committee of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. He also served an appointment by the Illinois Supreme Court to its Committee on Civil Jury Instructions, the committee responsible to the Supreme Court for the drafting of all civil instructions.
Mr. Jones has been recognized as a Leading Lawyer in the category of Personal Injury Defense Law in the areas of General and Professional Malpractice. In addition, he holds the AV® Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating for ethics and legal ability.
Illinois Super Lawyers magazine named Mr. Jones to the
Super Lawyers list in the area of “Business, General” in 2005, and in the area of Professional Liability Defense in 2006 and 2007.
Mr. Jones is a member of the American Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Peoria County Bar Association and has chaired the Association's Continuing Education Committee.
