The Sarbanes-Oxley Act, signed into law in 2002, imposed many new requirements on public companies as to corporate policies. Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP analyzed the Act’s provisions, regulations adopted by the SEC, and proposals of exchanges such as the New York Stock Exchange.
