Chad D. Kasdin

Practice Focus
Chad Kasdin focuses his practice in defense litigation, with particular emphasis on professional liability, corporate tort liability, premises liability and land use law. He also has experience in toxic tort defense, landlord/tenant issues and employment law.

Mr. Kasdin’s clients include the Chicago White Sox and the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority (the owner of U.S. Cellular Field), for which he has defended matters involving alleged premises liability, negligent security, foul ball injuries and also intentional torts.

Mr. Kasdin also represents large Chicago area hospitals, including Mercy Hospital, Rush University and Northwest Community Hospital, in addition to physician groups and individual physicians for whom he defended professional negligence actions. He also represents property owners and management companies in both residential and commercial settings, as well as land use and community interest groups.
Professional Background
Mr. Kasdin joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP as an associate in September 2000. Previously he was a two-year summer associate the firm. He became a partner in 2006.
